Restore Your Skin with Chemical Peels

The vast majority of the early signs of aging that appear on your face and other areas of frequently exposed skin are a direct result of damaging ultraviolet light.

A chemical peel is a minimally invasive clinical skin treatment that involves applying a carefully formulated chemical solution directly onto your skin to improve damage or reverse the effects of photoaging safely and effectively.

During a chemical peel, a customized solution is gently brushed or rubbed onto your skin. It’s left in place for a specific amount of time, depending on the depth of action that’s required for your skin needs.

Chemical peels are also used to treat chronic acne breakouts and diminish the appearance of acne scars. A chemical peel may be applied to your entire face or just to specific areas, such as wrinkles around your mouth.

Chemical peels help exfoliate dead skin cells, tighten pores, and improve skin texture. Deeper peels go one step further, helping to correct uneven skin tone and reduce the appearance of spots, lines, and wrinkles.

AHA chemical peels, also known as glycolic acid chemical peels, are light, noninvasive peels that are worked into your regular skin care routine for amazing results. Because it’s so gentle, an AHA chemical peel can be applied weekly.

Used for mid-depth peeling, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) chemical peels are applied to your face, neck, or virtually any other area of skin that would benefit from deep-action renewal.

Each TCA treatment lasts about 15 minutes, and it may take more than one treatment to obtain optimal results. Because TCA chemical peels are minimally invasive, you can return to your usual routine immediately afterward, with no downtime.
